Is there anybody out there?

Are any of you still there? It's lonely out here in the wasteland of my discursive thoughts and I'm wondering who's still there after all these mostly silent years. I haven't been much of a talker and I'm no longer a linker and I switched hosts which caused me more problems than I anticipated, but I'm back for now until the four noble truths catch up with me.

I've begun to think that it would be nice to add audio clips at times like these, whatever that means. I'm too much of a visual purist to do that, though, in addition to being some kind of tortured artist, able to create only the wrong kind of art. Bonus points for you if you can both place and hear that line above in your head. I can, over and over and over again. An earworm, the fair goddess from Namibia once explained, surprised that we didn't have a similar term at our disposal. (Whatever happened to that goddess, I wonder? Did she ride off into the sunset to live happily ever after? Nyima, you must know. Do tell.)

Still here, still reading, just not very "talkative" these days. I spent too much energy on NaBloPoMo. :)

I'm still here too. I read every post through Google Reader so your stats may not show me. :)

I'm still here as well. I come by every day if I'm online.

It is almost killing me for not being certain. But I think I get the kudos for placing the line :-p

Thanks, everyone. ;)

It's you four and a minimum of three other people that I know are definitely reading: Clarity, ZenChick, & Sell Hi.

That three is probably more like at least 10 or 12, though. Eric? Chris? Are you still out there? ;) Or did I wear you down with all that silence?

(As for who all those people are in the stats, I think that they're lost.)

And guess what, Hennifer? A related song was on the radio this morning, although not the exact song in question. ;)

Yes ... still here from time to time to see where you're at.

Happy holidays,

xx
